VFIAX is priced at 503.99 and shows a yield of 1.32% which would be a dividend of $6.73. The fund market price and the S&P500 index value are not the same thing. This is the old quart of milk for $1 and gallon of milk for $4.That chart says the current real dividend per share inflation adjusted is $71.98.
