I have at Times used a family member address and as long as you have a good relationship it can work fine. These days there isn't much mail since a lot can be online but there can be headaches trying to forward/coordinate timely mailings.
I would use the family member over a mailbox service but I haven't actually used the services. I wouldn't put my name on a utility bill and am not sure what you are trying to manage. There are a few things that might require proof of residence but in most of those cases your residence would be France. You aren't trying to get a FL library membership, are you![:)]( "Smile")
