Persimmon season is around the corner. Do any of you save persimmons? Lot of fruit goes unpicked and waste because no way to preserve
Japanese (Fuyu) persimmons, or the soft and mushy persimmons? Fuyus are my favorite for eating fresh, but I use the soft ones for persimmon pudding. They could be blended up into baby-food consistency and frozen in the right amounts, I would guess. There used to be a wild persimmon tree near my house, but it is now gone. You just reminded me I should go foraging for a new tree. That will give me a reason to go for walks next week.
