There used to be. I remember a meeting at Larry Swedroe's company and he supplied us all with a free lunch.

It's been gone for a very long-long time. :(

That was essentially a one-off.

And, per standard "there's no such thing as a free lunch", IMO, the meeting was at LEAST a soft-sell for Larry & his company.

I think there may have been one or two more "Let's meet at the Starbucks *here*" type meetings (probably lightly attended), but I only went to the Swedroe/Buckingham meeting.
