Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Exchange of EURO to USD and taxation

Hi Bogleheads -

Here is my situation. I will receive around EUR 80k soon from abroad. It will still be under $100k limit for IRS reporting.

I then plan to convert this sum to USD.

Are there any taxes involved and if yes do I get any 1099 form for the currency conversion?
