I only read the first few posts in that thread but it seems to be related to them closing down one brokerage platform for a different one - I saw no mention of the Mutual Fund platform in the first few threads. If I caught it years ago I would have dismissed it as well as not applying to me but in any case, I don't read every thread here so it hardly matters.

Not sure what the issue is.
I have no specific issue now - in fact - the whole migration process prompted me to think of what was best for me. I was merely pointing out that, to me, the writing on the wall was not apparent or obvious a decade ago. Looking back over this thread and several others I see apparently I am not the only one that missed all these signs as well that some folks here like to make a big deal about. In some thread folks have pointed out they recieved no emails or mail on this from Vanguard until recently. The constant "well you should have known years ago" comments are quite counterproductive to folks going through the migration now so I don’t understand why you and others need to keep pointing out how smart you were to have picked up on this many years ago while others did not.
