I'm also in the middle of the Edlen Ring DLC and agree with this assessment and recommendation. I had never played any Soulslike game prior to Elden Ring, and the total hours I've now put into it dwarf anything else I've played in decades.I enjoyed Unicorn Overlord as well! How's the DLC? Only 50 hours into the main game and need to complete that
How have you enjoyed Dragon's Dogma 2? I am on the Elden Ring DLC but am tempted by DD2.![]()
Recently loved Unicorn Overlord (though it was relatively short), Another Crab's Treasure (adorable soulsbourne), playing Mario Party with my 6 year old, just got my 4 year old started on Katamari Damacy (I WANT THE ROLLING GAME), also playing a simple but excellent ipad strategy game called Slice and Dice.
DLC is great. It's basically just a whole new game, a lot of which is very hard and extremely creative in a way that gently expands on everything that makes Elden Ring great.. If you do keep going through the base game of Elden Ring, I'd encourage you to finish the game first but NOT elect New Game Plus -- just keep playing your base game -- then download and play the DLC. That gets a little confusing at the end.
