So, by the time I'm 75, the combined income of my pension, SS and the RMD still won't currently change my 22% federal tax status.
In addition, if you move into the next bracket due to higher than expected returns or something, it will only be 24%. A 2-3% difference in marginal tax brackets would not be enough to induce me to do Roth conversions.

I have been doing conversions in the 12% bracket in order to avoid expected future 22% (may also avoid an IRMAA tier when there is a sole survivor).
