The book reaffirmed our general ethos.
In fact, after paying off the mortgage a few years ago, we’ve spent that gap with more travel. Priceless while kids are in the house.

Spending money on experiences at the right phase of life is key.
We will not be able to replicate the family experiences we’ve had thus far. So in that sense the money spent/experiences/memories/pictures/conversations/funny guide memories are 100% priceless!

I foresee not spending as much at some point. Perhaps first few years of retirement will be blowout travel budgets, but I see myself more as a homebody in 10-15 years when in my 60s.

Live life like you’ll have no regrets. Whatever tomorrow may bring!
(Save like a boglehead though, therein is the magic balancing act!)
