The allocation we have to stocks is pretty conservative. Considering you can easily move money between kids' accounts (and my son has a like a 6-8 time horizon until he's finishing college), I'm OK leaving some in stocks. That said, it probably doesn't hurt to reduce that amount, so maybe we start there.
