Looks that you have a good plan then, if you stick to normal apartments and don't have super expensive habits. I recommend that you keep learning the language and you'll enjoy it even more.

Yes, transport is good but I repeat, previous posters only mention bigger cities. There's lots to see stopping from town to town in the countryside, not all is the capitales de provincia. Renting a car for those trips would work though.

It's clever not buying a home and makes this very realistic. Congratulations for doing a deep research. Your comments about taxation are useful for me to keep in mind in the future (e.g. avoid contributing to ROTH).
