I've had similar problems with earbuds not staying in my ears well. It's one of the reasons I won't try AirPods, as much as I use Apple for pretty much everything.
JLab Go Sport has an excellent Bluetooth over-the-ear earbud with mic. I use them for listening to podcasts, music, and videos, as well as calls with clients and such. Good price point and quality.
And above all, they stay on my darned ears.
