I'm using the world market cap by looking up VT's makeup once a year.
No home bias and I don't buy "US companies sell abroad" (Samsung and Louis Vuitton sell abroad too from their respective countries).
That means that my returns for the last few years have been lower than 100% VTI but I sleep well at night.
