First time poster in this thread. I took a short trip to Sax-Zim bog and the surrounding area of northeast Minnesota this past weekend. This is a modest irruption year for owls, and a variety of other northern birds were around too, including Common Redpoll, Gray Jay, Purple Finch, and Pine Grosbeak.
