Just to give my own opinion. I have frontal balding hair. Friends deal with it better than I. They cut it short, about an inch or so. BIL uses hair product to make it stand up, not quite spiky. I’ve told my hairdresser/barber to keep an eye on my balding and let me know when I need to make the switch. If I can transition gradually that would be my preference. Don’t let me look like a jack***. I’m serious. And I’m a bit vain. BTW I saw a guy who wears hearing aids and balding. Looking good to my mind. Especially if you’re fit.
