Just last week I was surprised to receive a letter from Innovis. I am in the process of moving and so I am changing my address on various accounts. I received a letter at both the old and new addresses from Innovis which said:Thanks. It does appear that going with freezes beyond the 3 major credit bureaus is an overkill?I bookmarked the pages to freeze/unfreeze the credit report on all 3 major bureaus' websites, so it only takes me a couple minutes to unfreeze all 3 whenever I need to apply for credit. I never bother with the temporary thaw. First, I unfreeze all 3, then I apply for credit and immediately freeze them all back.

"Because you placed a Security Freeze on your Innovis credit report, we're writing to inform you that the following information was recently added to your Innovis Credit Report."
They listed my new address.
The letter also goes on to say:
"For your security and to help keep you informed, Innovis will notify you by mail of any new names, addresses, dates of birth, or Social Security Numbers that are added to your Innovis Credit Report."
How kind of them.
I haven't received any notifications from the Big Three credit reporting agencies, so I am glad that Innovis provides this service. A good reason to place a freeze with them. I had forgotten that I had done it.
