+1This is not a knock on you, but would you think this was a good idea if you had not reached accredited investor status? Or are you thinking “wow— now that I’ve reached this level, I SHOULD be investing in this other stuff and it would be silly not to”? Just because you can do something does not mean that you should.I am new to private investing, and just reached accredited investor status this year, thanks.
We have been “accredited investors” for at least a decade, probably two. We have not invested in anything that required that status. It just means that you are available to be taken advantage of without the (minimal) protections others have.
