Big assumption for the dealer to fix it right, given it's a simple job they'll perform with the lowest of care, and they're the party that already messed it up once.While I admire the "can do" attitudes of the Boglehead forum, I would take the time and effort to go back to the dealer and make them fix it "right". They messed it up, they should fix it. I'd figure they are more likely to do it "right" and I should avoid any issues in the future.
