Here’s how I did it for 30 years: I set goals for advancement and promotion throughout my career. Every promotion sorta felt like a new job.. for a little while, anyway. Once I got to the end of the road (no more promotions left) I was conveniently at the apex of the Peter Principal. At that point not only was I burned out, but I’d reached the level of my incompetence. Time to go/retire![beer :beer]()
