Just to clarify a few points.
When the account was established, her online access was never created because the agent at the time said I could manage her account through mine own account. Wonder if I could just establish her online access and then get access?

Re-establish me again as authorized agent may be difficult as I remember when she first used me to establish as her agent, it requires Powers of attorney which is difficult in a foreign country. Also she’s in her 90’s and traveling will be difficult.

I have substantial investments with vanguard as I’ve been with Vanguard for over 30 years. After this incident I may consider moving to an another brokerage. If they can do this to a 30 year loyal customer they can do it to anyone. I can’t imaging having to do this again as I get older and my agent has to go thru this just to access my own money. I may also seek government regulatory agency help if vanguard does not reestablish my agent status as i consider this as elderly abuse.

I will not be back to the US until early next year and will call them then.
