I suppose if I were a day trader, or market timer, I'd probablyShiller PE has ascended to nearly 37, which was exceeded only in 1999 and 2021 after which kaput. Concerning.. maybe time to lighten up?

However, I'm invested long term, and the Shiller PE basically goes up and down over the long term. So, for me, it's meaningless.lighten up
Will I make a change to my asset allocation based on the Shiller P/E ratio? Absolutely not.
Will I rebalance my AA if my stock allocation outweighs my fixed income allocation? Absolutely, yes!
I've been rebalancing from Stocks to fixed for years to keep my asset allocation intact, with an occasional rebalance from fixed to stocks. It's all good when you keep it simple. I suppose if one has a 100% stock allocation, they may be concerned if entering retirement.
