+1. I'd also say we'd need info on your projected expenses and portfolio size. In many cases a retiree does not need life insurance at all because their dependents are grown, their home is paid off, their expenses are lower, et cetera.
Portfolio size is currently $1.1m (not including pension).

Pension + 3.1% withdrawal rate covers our current actual annual expenses. These expenses includes the fun stuff. I am pretty certain about these numbers as I track in Quicken for years.

No dependents. House is not yet paid off - owe about $75k on with a sub 3% mortgage.

We are likely to be early retirees.
