I wouldn't take that video as any sort of tacit affirmation Blackstone (or any institutional investors, for that matter) are bearish on housing at a macro level. That's a pretty clickbaity extrapolation based on a small sample size, IMO.

The question is not whether they are bearish. They work on a different scale and a different set of assumptions than a typical individual house owner. Hence, if they falls, their whole real estate portfolio will be foreclosed. The impact will not be limited to individual housing market.
