one of my favorites was a few years ago I noticed a habit of people responding to posts about someone selling in their account...only they didn't say what type of account! Many posters assumed the OP was talking about a retirement account so they were saying there was no tax implication of selling in retirement account (even though that phrase was never uttered by the OP). So I saw not all info was there and asked the simple question, "Is this a retirement account or taxable?" and the OP said taxable and everyone who had posted had to say "forget what I wrote" because it was no longer relevant. GIGO.
