My had, I should have done more thorough research before allocating bonds. Honestly I regret it. So, you are likely suggesting rebalancing, correct? Do you have any recommendations regarding the ideal percentage allocation for domestic versus international bonds? The typical practice around here is to want the Roth Ira to grow as much as possible. Therefore many of us have 100% equities in our Roth IRAs. We put bonds in our traditional IRA. I am in retirement. And have 100% in equities in my Roth, which is slated for legacy purposes. At your age, you want that Ira to grow for many decades. Why have a bond fund in the Roth?I am mid 30s, my target allocation percent in my Roth IRA is 55% Domestic, 35% International and 10% Bonds. However right now its standing as 40% Domestic, 33% International and 27% Bonds. Should I rebalance in this case or forget it?
