5 year mortgage at 6.125%
Acquired mortgage August 2024
Balance is currently 190k
Monthly payment is $1650 PI. I pay taxes and insurance seperately

I would never pay 190K out of my holdings to close out a mortgage.
Having that 190K gives you options; the options are gone if you wipe out the mortgage.
I might start making double or triple payments out of my current income.
