Personal Consumer Issues • Re: TurboTax 2024 software offer

As @feldman posted above, there appears to be two separate offers within the one Chase offer. One is for the $20 rebate which he believes, and I'm going along with for the moment, applies no matter how you get to the Intuit site as long as you buy on that site.

The second is the 10% off for using the Chase affiliate link. For those with Fidelity, use the Fidelity affiliate link instead.

Even if the Chase $20 doesn't work out, Deluxe at $52.50 beats Amazon's current price of $53.20 ($55.99 less 5% on Amazon card).

Yes, I know that Amazon will probably run their deal any minute now, and Fidelity may come through mid-January, but for those who need high-confidence estimates today, this is the best I could do.
Can you post the URL that gives the price of $52.50 for Deluxe after clicking on Do it yourself → Doing taxes with Desktop software?

When I do that from the Chase site, I get the same URL as going straight in through Intuit and a 10% discount of $63: https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
Out of curiosity and trying to answer my own question, I pasted the link into a different browser and it gave me a regular price of $80 discounted to $70 for Deluxe, not the $63 I got earlier. It would seem that there is a cookie assigned to the Intuit link that determines the discount.

If only some Fidelity customer could determine how to share that cookie...
