Another crazy thought, maybe someone can correct me, if I am wrong. Once I begin Medicare, it's stated that I will get Part A benefits for "free"....they're not free if I've worked and paid for them through payroll deductions for several decades - and further, don't I already receive "Part A-like" (hospitalization) benefits through my current retiree FEHB plan? Appears to be redundancy. Quite a disappointment after paying all these years and actually expecting to receive something additional for it.
