When you call in, they should ask for the phone password if you have established it. If you have both voice recognition and the phone password, and the voice recognition fails, my understanding is that they will ask for the password. If you have not established a voice password and the voice recognition fails, my understanding is that they will drop into asking wallet questions. How does the enhanced security password work. Do you have unique password you give them when you call in?
I understand that a difference is that the voice authentication can take the place of a medallion signature to authorize things by phone that otherwise would require a medallion, but the phone password will not. That creates a non-trivial difference if my understanding is correct, and it still is the policy.
