Personal Investments • Re: Leave retirement funds in 403b or move to IRA after retirement?

My retirement money is in TIAA and I am paying .4% for an advisor.
I'm not sure whether to leave my money in TIAA or move to an IRA. About 300,000 of the $1,100,000 I have is in TIA traditional.
Now that I am retired I realize I need financial planning and tax help.
My advisor is helpful but I could use more planning advice. The Vanguard advisor I spoke with seems good.
I have talked to Mercer, Vanguard, and Ameriprise. Vanguard seems more reasonable than the 1 or 1.1% others charge.
Any advice is appreciated.
I've been retired for 2 1/2 years I'm 64. The bulk of my retirement was in a 403b with TIAA Cref and I didn't pay an advisor. In 2019, as I began my investment management education here, I realized that my investments were not earning as much as they could due to the fees associated with the funds themselves. So I transferred half of the TIAA money to an IRA at Schwab and began investing in low-cost index funds. The other half I left in TIAA in two guaranteed annuities whose fixed interest rates include some kind of fee I can live with.
I do my own tax planning and retirement investment management with the help of this forum. I do however have a simple financial profile which doesn't in my opinion necessitate an advisor. I get all the advice I need here with the additional sense of satisfaction that I'm in control of my finances.
